These small, round pearls are made from tapioca starch which is extracted from the Cassava root, offering a delightfully chewy texture and a mild, neutral flavor that absorbs the sweetness of your favorite recipes. Ratio: 1 cup of tapioca pearls to 4 cups of water
COOKING INSTRUCTIONS: In a pot, boil 4 cups of water. Slowly add 1 cup of tapioca pearls while stirring to prevent sticking. Lower the heat to a medium and simmer for 10-15 minutes. Once pearls turn fully translucent, taste the tapioca pearls. If its still hard in the center, cook for another 2-5 minutes. Drain pearls using a strainer and rinse them under cold water to remove excess starch.
